Backup and restore help

Check first

Open Tabora → Settings → Data → Backup to find the backup folder location. Confirm the folder exists on your device and that the most recent backup file is dated as expected. If you're moving to a new computer, copy the backup folder before reinstalling and use Restore on the new machine.

When to contact support

If a backup file is corrupted, a restore didn't complete, or your data isn't in the location shown in Settings, contact account support. Include the error text and the steps you were performing. Do not include student names, grade records, or personal data in your message.

Keep private

Student records and classroom data are local to your device and never leave it automatically. If a support request requires a diagnostic bundle, Tabora will walk you through what to include — don't share raw data files unless specifically asked.
